Exploring Green Career Opportunities

New green career opportunities are continually emerging as our economy shifts.  There are many ways to "map" green jobs, which are found in many sectors of the economy.  This Green Career Map is a navigational tool for exploring sectors  in which green jobs can typically be found - and possibly expanding your sense of possibilities. 

Many occupations which might be considered "green,"  such as an accountant, a teacher, or a customer service or sales rep, can be found in most sectors of the economy.  And most jobs and organizations can be "greened" by advocating more environmentally sustainable practices. This map is not meant to be comprehensive, but to provide sample occupations and "jumping off points" for further exploration, and will be continually updated as new opportunities emerge.
